Short description

A slurry silo is round. And it was precisely these round walls that presented the planners with major challenges. But the previous use also caused special problems. First, both the concrete walls and the floor were thoroughly cleaned and repaired. Then the structure had to be protected from moisture penetration and finally insulated. The strip-shaped interior insulation system from Remmers offered the ideal solution here, as the insulation strips were glued vertically rather than horizontally as is usually the case. This meant that the interior insulation could easily be adapted to the round geometry of the walls.
